Be Prepared for Baby’s Skin Problems in Summer
Summer does not bring only sunny days but it may also cause skin problems for babies. Dear parents, be well-prepared!

- Heat Rash
is commonly found on the forehead, chest, back, neck as well as skin’s folding, causing irritating itch.
Treatment : Wear breathable clothes and diapers for your baby, and keep your home cool and well-ventilated. -
Eczema
is a condition in which areas of skin become rough, dry, red and inflamed, with blisters. It often appears on the forehead, cheek, arm and leg.
Treatment : Apply baby oil while the skin is still damp from bath to moisturize your baby’s skin. If the rough patch appears in a wide area or worse, please consult a dermatologist for the right treatment. -
Diaper Rash
is generally related to wet and infrequently changed diapers. It looks like patches of inflamed skin on your baby’s thighs, genitals and buttocks.
Treatment : Frequently change diapers, as well as keep the affected area dry and clean. -
Seborrheic Dermatitis
mainly affects your baby’s scalp, causing scaly patches like stubborn dandruff.
Treatment : Soften the flakes with baby oil or olive oil and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes before washing.
